How To Sell Your Act Review

Review of the eBook "How To Sell Your Act" by Tim Marston. For more information on the eBook visit Tim's website

When I finished university (after a string of boring jobs) I decided to become a professional fire performer. I had to start at the bottom and work my way up. There were many lessons to learn and I had to learn many of them for myself (the hard way!). I was helped by friends who were already professional performers but it still took me years to learn the trade and work out the best ways to promote myself, put together a good act, good publicity and deal with clients professionally.

Tim is one of the people who has taught me a lot about the industry. I now work for his company Juggling Inferno and we make good money performing all over the county and the world. His ebook 'How to sell your act' gives you all the advice you need on how to set yourself up as a professional performer. It is the hard earned knowledge and experience gained from years of working within the industry. This knowledge comes from someone who set up on their own starting from nothing and built one of the most successful fire performance companies in the country in a very short space of time.

Working as a professional performer has taken me all over the world, provided me with a job I find not only satisfying but also exciting and enjoyable. It has also given me financial independence without having to work a 9 – 5 job. I love my job but it wasn't easy to get to where I am now, if this book had existed when I started out it would have saved me years of hard work, loads of mistakes and a significant amount of money.

'How to sell your act' guides you through the process of thinking about your act and helps you to work out the best way to turn your act into something profitable. It teaches you to think about your act as a business and goes into detail about how to develop and promote it. Tim explains the options available to you as a performer for getting paid work, from promoting yourself at trade fairs to getting the right material together for entertainment agents. He teaches from his own experience showing what works and perhaps even more importantly, what doesn't. 'How to sell you act' examines each aspect of working as a professional performer listing the options available to you and examining the pros and cons of each.

Much of the success of Juggling Inferno is down to Tim's skill at online promotion. Aside from running Juggling Inferno, Tim works as a SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) consultant. He has a great understanding of how to climb Google's search results and so drive a high volume of profitable traffic to the website. Tim's knowledge and experience has been compressed down in 'How to sell your act' and he teaches you the skills you need to promote your own website to the top positions in search results. The eBook is easy to read, and completely focused on teaching you the best way to sell your own act.

If you are considering setting yourself up as a professional performer, in whatever form, be it fire performer, dancer, magician, etc I strongly suggest you buy this book, it may well be the best £20 you ever spend and could change your life completely.
